MixLuv Terms of Use
Last updated: October 14, 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Brooklyn Sound Lab LLC (“we,” “us”), which operates MixLuv: mixluv.com, its venue portals (such as bsloakland.mixluv.com) and related services (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.
2. YouTube and Google
MixLuv uses YouTube API Services. By using MixLuv, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s handling of your information is described in the Google Privacy Policy. You can remove MixLuv’s access to your Google and YouTube data at any time at security.google.com/settings/security/permissions. Other services you connect (such as Instagram) have their own terms, which also apply when you use them.
3. What MixLuv is
MixLuv is a business-intelligence platform for live music. It helps venues understand artists’ audiences and booking history, and helps artists present their case to venues. MixLuv’s scores, estimates, grades and comparisons are calculated from available data. They are information to support decisions, not promises: MixLuv does not guarantee any booking, attendance, ticket sales or revenue.
MixLuv is not a party to any agreement between an artist and a venue. Offers, contracts, payments and settlements are between the artist (or their representative) and the venue, even when information about them appears in MixLuv.
4. Accounts
- You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian’s permission if you are 13 to 17. MixLuv is not for children under 13.
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at once if you think it has been misused.
- If you use MixLuv for a venue, an Artist or an agency, you confirm you are authorized to act for them.
5. Artist profiles, claims and teams
- An “Artist” on MixLuv is a performing act: a band or a solo performer. MixLuv may list Artists using publicly available information before anyone claims them.
- Claim or create an Artist only if you are, or are authorized to represent, that Artist. Claims and new Artists may be reviewed, approved, rejected or removed by venue booking staff or MixLuv.
- The owner of an Artist on MixLuv decides who joins its team and what they can see. People they give access to can see that Artist’s business information. Choose them with care.
- If you don’t want an Artist listed, email privacy@mixluv.com and we will remove it.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of the content you add, such as bios, photos, links and documents. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display and process that content to run the Service, including showing it to the venues and team members described in our Privacy Policy. You confirm you have the rights to the content you add. The license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we must keep for legal reasons or records of completed bookings.
7. Data in MixLuv
- Use MixLuv’s data only for your own booking and business decisions.
- Don’t copy, scrape, resell or republish MixLuv’s data, scores or reports, or use them to build a competing product, without our written permission.
- Information about other artists, venues and people is confidential to the Service. Treat it that way.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- impersonate anyone, or claim an Artist you don’t represent;
- submit false or misleading information, including fake show records, attendance or metrics;
- access accounts or data you aren’t authorized to see, or try to get around security;
- use bots or automated tools to access the Service, except through tools we provide;
- interfere with or overload the Service, or upload malware;
- use the Service to break the law or to harass anyone.
9. Our rights
The Service, including its software, design, scores, methods and the MixLuv name and logos, belongs to Brooklyn Sound Lab LLC and its licensors. These Terms give you no rights to them except to use the Service as described here. We may change, suspend or end any part of the Service. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms.
10. Ending your use
You may stop using MixLuv and close your account at any time by emailing privacy@mixluv.com. Sections 6 (as to retained records), 7, 9, 11, 12, 13 and 14 continue after your account closes.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Data from third-party sources may be incomplete, delayed or wrong. We don’t promise the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, bookings, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or $100.
13. Indemnity
You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms or the law.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Alameda County, California, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms. When we do, we will post the new version here and change the “Last updated” date. If a change is significant, we will also notify signed-in users by email or in MixLuv. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
